Basic instuctions

Adding & Dragging

To add an apparatus, select an item from the top toolbar. To change the category, click on of the smaller unlabelled buttons on each side of the toolbar. Currently, there are 5 categories with 8 items per each.

After adding an item, it appears on the workspace. To drag it to the right place, simply click with your left mouse, drag and then release. You can only drag one item at a time, multiselection is not supported.

Using Editor

To rotate or change style of an item, drag it over the square labelled 'sensor' until the red light goes green. Hit the arrows to rotate the item, hit the star button to change style. Not all items support changing styles.

Deleting

To delete items, drag them over the bin. To delete multiple items, you can drag the bin (by clicking the top bar above the bin) over your items. Any item that intersects with the bin, will be removed.

Show Table

To stop your apparatus setup from 'hovering' in the air, click the bottom left button to show a table. Click again to hide it.

Finishing

Chemix unfortunately does not allow you to save or export your work into an image, however, you can simply take a screenshot, remove all toolbars and UI items in a paint program and then paste the resulting image in desired place.
