- Some files listed are not deleted. Why?
- Disc Broom cannot delete files if the user doesn't have the permission, e.g. files located in system folders. The program is told to ignore any errors caused by this and so it won't tell you that a file removed from the list might not be removed from the system.
- I still find lots of temporary files on my disc.
- Due to the diverse methods of creating temporary files, it is not possible for Disc Broom to cover them all. Disc Broom specifically searches for certain file naming patterns and e.g. the removal of files from temporary folders is not yet implemented, though planned for future versions.
- Disc Broom erases the same files again and again
- The reason is similar to that above. Disc Broom searches for certain file naming patterns and it happens so that the same Windows temporary files get listed first.
