After three years, we have finally broken the 10 000 visitors barrier, thanks to the move to a new server, able to accommodate for a larger traffic. Also, thanks to recent mention of Menu Inventor on fileforum.betanews.com and the Spanish forum taringa.net, more than 500 users have visited micron in one week.
On the topic of Menu Inventor, development has shifted to the graphical side of things - a new method of displaying nodes on the pane is being brewed, which should be faster and flexible than its predecessor, allowing for feats such as displaying the "Top X used" or "Recently used" items. Releases are planned as follows:
- Test release 1: displays panes, loads files, launches applications, limited editing
- Test release 2: icons, saves files, full on-the-fly editing tools
- Beta release: full drag'n'drop, complete icon support
- Release Candidate 1: backwards compatibility, skins, more new features
- Full release
