In tight 20 minutes I managed to convey the urgency of our current situation and then we moved on. Generally, we consented and managed to discuss lots of things:
- The structure of the yearbook:
- Teachers
- Year 1-5
- Year 6 + graduation ball
- Events
- CAS (including students' various creations)
- Timeline, with most important or interesting happenings
- J. Kovář is put in charge of doing a survey and starting the sign-up list
- OJ and I will start working on the Events section
- We decided for an 'Open Source' tactics
- Do as much as possible and then present our work to the public => (hopefully) raise enthusiasm
- Let our students do some work, like find us a cheap small-scale printer!
- (Also hopefully) attract some sponsor or convince people to shell out more money
- Our project is not profit-raising, as it was three years ago (the last yearbook that was issued
)
- The deadline has been loosened and we expect the yearbook to be finished in September 2006 by latest, leaving the current year 6 students to come for them later.
- J. Rausová suggests the yearbook to be black'n'white. I am against
, (of course, I didn't make the designs in full color just for fun) - The question of hard cover is still not settled
Oh yes, and it was shameful that Jakub Kovář and Linda Doan did not bother to wind up. Shame on you!
